Instructions for Use

  1. Supply Voltage:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (VCC) is within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
  2. Operating Temperature:

    • The device operates reliably within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
  3. Storage Temperature:

    • Store the device in an environment with temperatures ranging from -65°C to 150°C.
  4. Watchdog Timeout Period:

    • Set the external resistor (RWD) to 249kΩ to achieve a watchdog timeout period of 1.6 to 2.4 seconds.
  5. Manual Reset Timeout:

    • Set the external resistor (RMR) to 249kΩ to achieve a manual reset timeout period of 1.6 to 2.4 seconds.
  6. Power-Good Threshold:

    • The power-good threshold (VPG) is set to trigger at 4.4V to 4.6V on the rising edge.
    • The hysteresis for the power-good threshold is 200mV.
  7. Output Current:

    • The watchdog, manual reset, and power-good outputs can source current up to 0.3mA at VCC = 5V.
  8. Quiescent Current:

    • The quiescent current (IQ) is typically 15μA when no load is present and VCC = 5V.
  9. Reset Pulse Width:

    • The reset pulse width (TRST) is 100ms to 400ms when VCC = 5V and the power-good delay (TPG) is 1.6 seconds.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure proper decoupling capacitors are placed close to the VCC and GND pins to maintain stability.
