Instructions:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the range of 4.5V to 24V.
    • Ensure a stable power supply to avoid fluctuations that could affect sensor performance.
  2. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to the common ground of the system to ensure proper operation.
  3. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector configuration. Connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin and Vcc to set the logic level when the sensor is not activated.
    • The maximum current the output can sink is 20mA. Ensure that the load does not exceed this limit.
  4. Magnetic Field Requirements:

    • The sensor will switch on when the magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point (Bop) of 30G to 60G.
    • The sensor will switch off when the magnetic flux density drops below the release point (Brp) of -30G to -60G.
    • The hysteresis (Bhys) ensures that the sensor does not oscillate rapidly around the switching points, providing a stable output.
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • The sensor operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
    • Store the sensor in an environment within the same temperature range to prevent damage.
  6. Handling and Installation:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid mechanical stress.
    • Ensure proper soldering techniques to avoid thermal shock and mechanical damage during installation.
    • Use appropriate ESD protection measures to prevent damage from static electricity.
  7. Testing and Troubleshooting:

    • Test the sensor by applying a magnetic field and verifying the output signal.
    • If the sensor does not respond as expected, check the power supply, ground connection, and magnetic field strength.
    • Ensure that the pull-up resistor is correctly connected and has the appropriate value for your application.
