The L6599D is a PWM controller specifically designed for motor control applications using brushless DC motors. Description: The L6599D is a monolithic PWM pulse generator designed to control brushless DC motors. It combines a high voltage high current power stage with a dedicated high speed control circuit. The device includes a Hall effect current sensing circuit, programmable speed regulation and protection functions. It also has pins for connecting speed and direction signals from the external device.
