Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the VDD pin.
    • Connect the negative terminal (ground) of the power supply to the GND pin.
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the VOUT pin.
    • Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum output current of 100 mA.
  3. Capacitors:

    • Place a 1 μF ceramic capacitor between VDD and GND as close to the device as possible to filter input noise.
    • Place a 1 μF ceramic capacitor between VOUT and GND to stabilize the output voltage.
  4. Thermal Considerations:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if the device is operating near its maximum output current or in high ambient temperatures.
    • The device will automatically shut down if the junction temperature exceeds 150°C to prevent damage.
  5. PCB Layout:

    • Use a ground plane to help dissipate heat and reduce noise.
    • Keep traces short and wide to minimize resistance and inductance.
  6. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place.
    • Handle with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the device.
  7. Testing:

    • Before connecting the load, measure the output voltage to ensure it is within the expected range.
    • Monitor the temperature and current during operation to ensure the device is functioning correctly.
