Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VDD pin to the positive supply voltage (2.7V to 15V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground.
  2. Control Signals:

    • The ADG411BR has control inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4) that determine which channel is selected.
    • Apply logic high (VDD) or low (GND) to these inputs to select the desired channel.
  3. Signal Path:

    • Connect the input signal to the common input (COM) pin.
    • The selected channel will connect the COM pin to one of the output pins (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3, OUT4).
  4. Supply Current:

    • Ensure that the supply current does not exceed 0.1 mA when all channels are off to avoid excessive power consumption.
  5. Input Signal Range:

    • Ensure that the input signal (VIN) stays within the range of -0.3V to VDD + 0.3V to prevent damage to the device.
  6. Breakdown Voltage:

    • Do not exceed the breakdown voltage (16V) to avoid damaging the device.
  7. Operating Temperature:

    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C to ensure reliable performance.
  8. Storage Temperature:

    • Store the device in an environment with a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C to prevent damage during storage.
  9. Channel-to-Channel Isolation:

    • Ensure that the channel-to-channel isolation is at least 50 dB at 1 MHz to maintain signal integrity.
  10. Power Dissipation:

    • Keep the power dissipation below 100 mW to avoid overheating and potential damage to the device.
  11. Leakage Current:

    • Monitor the leakage current to ensure it does not exceed 500 nA when all channels are off to maintain low power consumption.

By following these instructions, you can ensure optimal performance and reliability of the ADG411BR analog switch.
