The SN74159N is a 4-to-16 line decoder/demultiplexer from Texas Instruments. It is a 24-pin dual in-line package (DIP) device with two active-low enable inputs (E1 and E2) and sixteen active-low outputs (Y0 to Y15). It is designed to decode four binary-coded inputs into one of sixteen mutually exclusive outputs when both enable inputs are low.
