Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Ensure the supply voltage (Vcc) is within the specified range of 4.5V to 5.5V.
- Connect the ground (GND) pin to a stable ground reference.
Addressing:
- Apply the address signals (A0-A12) to the address pins before the address setup time (tAS).
- Maintain the address signals stable during the access time (tAA).
Data Input/Output:
- Data input should be applied to the data pins (D0-D8) before the data setup time (tDS).
- Data output will be valid after the access time (tAA) if the output enable (OE) is active.
Control Signals:
- The chip enable (CE) signal must be low to enable the device.
- The write enable (WE) signal must be low to perform a write operation.
- The output enable (OE) signal must be low to enable data output.
Power Management:
- To enter power-down mode, set the power-down (PD) signal high.
- To exit power-down mode, set the power-down (PD) signal low and wait for the power-up time (tPU).
Data Retention:
- Data is retained for up to 10 years without power.
- For optimal data retention, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures outside the storage temperature range.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the pins and package.
- Follow proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage to the device.
Testing:
- Before integrating the device into a system, perform basic functional tests to ensure it meets the specified parameters.
