Instructions:

  1. Power Supply Connection:

  2. Switching Frequency Adjustment:

    • Adjust the switching frequency (fSW) by connecting an external resistor between the FREQ pin and GND. The typical range is from 200kHz to 1000kHz.
  3. Load Current:

    • The device can support a maximum load current of 1.5A. Ensure the load does not exceed this limit to avoid overheating or damage.
  4. Efficiency:

    • For optimal efficiency, operate the device at the typical operating conditions (5V input, 3.3V output, 1A load).
  5. Quiescent Current:

    • In shutdown mode, the quiescent current is typically 100μA. Use the EN pin to control the enable state of the device.
  6. Dropout Voltage:

    • The dropout voltage is typically 0.3V at full load. Ensure the input voltage is sufficiently higher than the output voltage to maintain regulation.
  7. Soft-Start Time:

    • Adjust the soft-start time (tSS) by connecting an external capacitor to the SS pin. The typical range is from 2.2ms to 22ms.

  9. Thermal Shutdown:
