Instructions for Using AD2S1200YSTZ

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VDD pin to a stable 5V power supply.
    • Ensure the power supply can provide up to 180mA of current.
  2. Analog Input:

    • Connect the differential analog input signals (VIN+ and VIN-) to the appropriate pins.
    • The input range is ±2.5V. Ensure the input signals do not exceed this range to avoid damage.
  3. Output Configuration:

    • Set the desired resolution (12-bit or 16-bit) using the configuration pins.
    • The output data rate can be set up to 100kSPS.
  4. Data Output:

    • Read the digital output from the serial data output pin (SDO).
    • Use the serial clock (SCLK) and frame sync (FSYNC) signals to synchronize data transfer.
  5. Power-Down Mode:

    • To enter power-down mode, set the power-down control pin (PDN) high.
    • In power-down mode, the supply current drops to approximately 5μA.
  6. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
    • Store the device in an environment between -65°C and +150°C.
  7. Common Mode Rejection:

    • Ensure that the common mode voltage of the input signals is within the specified range to achieve the best CMRR performance.
  8. Testing and Validation:

    • After initial setup, perform tests to validate the phase and amplitude errors.
    • Use a known reference signal to ensure the device is operating within specifications.
  9. Handling and Storage:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Store the device in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
