Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure proper heat sinking if operating near maximum current or power dissipation.
- Avoid mechanical stress on the leads during soldering and handling.
Soldering:
- Use a temperature-controlled soldering iron with a maximum tip temperature of 300掳C.
- Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per joint.
- Allow the diode to cool down to room temperature before applying any electrical stress.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the anode (A) to the positive side of the circuit and the cathode (K) to the negative side.
- Ensure the reverse voltage does not exceed the maximum rated value of 20V to prevent breakdown.
Storage:
- Store the diode in a dry, cool place within the specified storage temperature range.
- Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads and body.
Testing:
- Use a multimeter to check for continuity between the anode and cathode. The diode should show low resistance in the forward direction and high resistance in the reverse direction.
- For more detailed testing, refer to the datasheet for specific test conditions and procedures.
Handling:
- Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection measures to avoid damaging the diode.
- Do not touch the leads or body of the diode with bare hands; use tweezers or other tools as needed.
