Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure proper heat sinking if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- Use a flat surface for mounting to ensure good thermal contact.
Soldering:
- Preheat the PCB to 100掳C to 150掳C before soldering.
- Soldering temperature should not exceed 260掳C.
- Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per connection.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the anode (A) to the positive side of the circuit.
- Connect the cathode (K) to the negative side of the circuit.
- Ensure that the reverse voltage does not exceed 100V to avoid breakdown.
Handling:
- Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
- Use anti-static precautions to prevent ESD damage.
Storage:
- Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep in original packaging until ready to use.
Testing:
- Test the diode using a multimeter to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Measure the forward voltage drop (VF) and ensure it is within the typical range.
Safety:
- Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when soldering to avoid inhaling fumes.
