Instructions for Using the IR2125S

  1. Supply Voltage (VCC):

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 10V to 20V.
    • Connect the VCC pin to the power supply.
  2. Bootstrap Supply Voltage (VBOOT):

    • The bootstrap supply voltage should also be within the range of 10V to 20V.
    • Connect the VBOOT pin to the bootstrap capacitor.
  3. Input Levels:

    • For the input to be recognized as high, the voltage should be between 2.0V and 5.5V.
    • For the input to be recognized as low, the voltage should be between -0.3V and 1.5V.
  4. Output Levels:

    • The output high level will be between 14V and 18V when VCC is 15V.
    • The output low level will be between 0.3V and 1.5V when VCC is 15V.
  5. Quiescent Current:

    • The quiescent current is typically 200 μA when both VCC and VBOOT are 15V.
  6. Short-Circuit Protection:

    • The maximum output short-circuit current is 100 mA. Ensure that the load does not exceed this limit to avoid damage.
  7. Timing Parameters:

    • The propagation delay time is typically 65 ns.
    • The rise and fall times are typically 35 ns each.
  8. Temperature Range:

    • The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 125°C.
    • The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C.
