Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the range of 4.5V to 24V.
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector, so connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin (OUT) and Vcc.
    • The maximum output current should not exceed 20mA.
  3. Magnetic Field Sensing:

    • Place the sensor in the magnetic field to be detected.
    • The sensor will switch its output based on the magnetic field strength:
      • Active State: When the magnetic field strength is below -65G or above +65G, the output will be low (0V).
      • Inactive State: When the magnetic field strength is between -35G and +35G, the output will be high (Vcc).
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure the operating temperature is within -40掳C to 85掳C.
    • Store the sensor in an environment where the temperature does not exceed 150掳C.
  5. Handling and Storage:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage.
    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place to prevent degradation.
  6. Mounting:

    • Solder the sensor to the PCB using standard SMT techniques.
    • Ensure proper alignment and soldering to avoid shorts or open circuits.
  7. Testing:

    • Test the sensor by applying a known magnetic field and verifying the output state.
    • Use a multimeter to check the output voltage level.
  8. Troubleshooting:

    • If the sensor does not respond as expected, check the power supply, connections, and magnetic field strength.
    • Ensure the pull-up resistor is correctly connected and has the appropriate value.
