Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a power supply within the operating voltage range (2.5V to 5.5V).
    • Connect the GND pin to ground.
  2. Serial Interface:

    • Connect the SCK (Serial Clock) pin to the clock signal from the master device.
    • Connect the SI (Serial In) pin to the data input from the master device.
    • Connect the SO (Serial Out) pin to the data output to the master device.
    • Connect the CS (Chip Select) pin to the chip select signal from the master device.
  3. Initialization:

    • Ensure the CS pin is high to keep the device in standby mode.
    • To activate the device, pull the CS pin low.
  4. Reading Data:

    • Pull CS low.
    • Send the read command (0x03) followed by the address of the data to be read.
    • The device will output the data on the SO pin.
  5. Writing Data:

    • Pull CS low.
    • Send the write enable command (0x06).
    • Send the write command (0x02) followed by the address and data to be written.
    • Wait for the write cycle to complete (maximum 5ms).
  6. Write Protect:

    • To prevent accidental writes, keep the WP (Write Protect) pin high.
    • To allow writes, pull the WP pin low.
  7. Power Down:

    • When not in use, ensure the CS pin is high to minimize power consumption.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and installation.
