Instructions for Using FAN8036L

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the VCC pin to the positive supply voltage (4.5V to 5.5V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground.
  2. Enable Pin:

    • To activate the device, apply a voltage greater than VENH (1.5V typical) to the EN pin.
    • To shut down the device, apply a voltage less than VENL (0.8V typical) to the EN pin.
  3. Output Load:

    • Connect the load between the OUT pin and ground. Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (2.0A typical).
  4. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation to prevent the junction temperature from exceeding 150°C. Use a heatsink if necessary.
  5. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the device in a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
    • Handle with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
  6. Testing and Verification:

    • Verify the quiescent current (IQ) and shutdown current (ISD) to ensure proper operation.
    • Test the device under load conditions to confirm it meets the required performance specifications.
  7. Safety Precautions:

    • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table to avoid damaging the device.
    • Follow proper handling and soldering procedures to prevent damage during assembly.
