Instructions for Using FAN8036L
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the VCC pin to the positive supply voltage (4.5V to 5.5V).
- Connect the GND pin to the ground.
Enable Pin:
- To activate the device, apply a voltage greater than VENH (1.5V typical) to the EN pin.
- To shut down the device, apply a voltage less than VENL (0.8V typical) to the EN pin.
Output Load:
- Connect the load between the OUT pin and ground. Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (2.0A typical).
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation to prevent the junction temperature from exceeding 150°C. Use a heatsink if necessary.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
- Handle with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Testing and Verification:
- Verify the quiescent current (IQ) and shutdown current (ISD) to ensure proper operation.
- Test the device under load conditions to confirm it meets the required performance specifications.
Safety Precautions:
- Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table to avoid damaging the device.
- Follow proper handling and soldering procedures to prevent damage during assembly.
