Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range of 2.4V to 5.5V.
    • Connect the VCC pin to the power supply and GND pin to ground.
  2. Sensitivity Adjustment:

    • The sensitivity can be adjusted using the provided registers via the I2C or SPI interface.
    • Refer to the datasheet for specific register addresses and values.
  3. Communication Interface:

    • Choose either I2C or SPI for communication with the microcontroller.
    • For I2C, connect SDA and SCL pins to the corresponding lines on the microcontroller.
    • For SPI, connect MOSI, MISO, SCLK, and CS pins to the corresponding lines on the microcontroller.
  4. Initialization:

    • Initialize the sensor by sending the appropriate commands to configure the desired settings.
    • Ensure the sensor is properly configured before starting the detection process.
  5. Detection:

    • The sensor will continuously monitor the touch area and send a signal when a touch is detected.
    • The output can be read through the communication interface.
  6. Low Power Mode:

    • To enter low power sleep mode, send the appropriate command to the sensor.
    • The sensor will consume minimal current in this mode and can be woken up by a touch event or a command from the microcontroller.
  7. Handling and Storage:

    • Store the sensor in a dry and cool environment to avoid damage.
    • Handle the sensor with care to prevent static discharge and physical damage.

For more detailed information, refer to the datasheet and application notes provided by the manufacturer.
