Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to Pin 1 (Input).
    • Connect the negative terminal of the power supply to Pin 2 (Ground).
  2. Load Connection:

    • Connect the load between Pin 3 (Output) and Pin 2 (Ground).
  3. Heat Dissipation:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation by mounting the KIA7915PI on a heatsink if the output current is close to the maximum rating.
  4. Input Capacitor:

    • Place a 10渭F electrolytic capacitor between the input and ground pins to stabilize the input voltage.
  5. Output Capacitor:

    • Place a 10渭F electrolytic capacitor between the output and ground pins to filter the output voltage and reduce ripple.
  6. Protection:

    • The device includes thermal shutdown and short-circuit protection. If the device overheats or experiences a short circuit, it will automatically shut down and recover once the fault condition is removed.
  7. Operating Environment:

    • Ensure that the operating temperature does not exceed the specified range to avoid damage to the device.
  8. Storage:
