The 74HC238D is a 3-to-8 line decoder/demultiplexer with three address inputs (A0, A1 and A2), an active LOW enable input (G) and eight mutually exclusive active LOW outputs (Y0 to Y7). The device is designed for high-speed operation and is capable of decoding three binary-coded inputs into one of eight mutually exclusive outputs. The device features a high-speed 3-state output structure for driving bus lines directly.
