Instructions for Use
Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the multimeter on or off.
- The multimeter will automatically power off after the selected time if no operation is performed.
Selecting Measurement Function
- Turn the function dial to the desired measurement type (e.g., V~ for AC voltage, V- for DC voltage, A~ for AC current, A- for DC current, 惟 for resistance, etc.).
Connecting Test Leads
- Insert the black test lead into the COM port.
- Insert the red test lead into the appropriate port based on the measurement type (V惟mA for voltage, resistance, and continuity; 10A for high current).
Performing Measurements
- Voltage Measurement: Connect the test leads to the circuit. The multimeter will display the measured voltage.
- Current Measurement: Break the circuit and insert the test leads in series. The multimeter will display the measured current.
- Resistance Measurement: Connect the test leads to the component. The multimeter will display the resistance.
- Capacitance Measurement: Disconnect the capacitor from the circuit, discharge it, and connect the test leads. The multimeter will display the capacitance.
- Frequency Measurement: Connect the test leads to the signal source. The multimeter will display the frequency.
- Duty Cycle Measurement: Connect the test leads to the pulse signal. The multimeter will display the duty cycle.
- Diode Test: Connect the red lead to the anode and the black lead to the cathode. If the diode is good, the multimeter will display the forward voltage and emit a beep.
- Continuity Test: Connect the test leads to the points to be tested. If there is a low resistance path, the multimeter will emit a beep.
- Temperature Measurement: Connect the K-type thermocouple to the temperature port and place the probe in the environment to be measured. The multimeter will display the temperature.
Data Hold
- Press the HOLD button to freeze the display. Press again to release the hold.
Auto Ranging
- The multimeter automatically selects the best range for the measurement. No manual range selection is required.
Low Battery Indication
- When the battery is low, the battery symbol on the display will flash. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
Safety Precautions
- Always disconnect the test leads before changing the function dial.
- Do not exceed the maximum input ratings for each measurement type.
- Use the multimeter only in well-ventilated areas.
- Do not use damaged test leads or probes.
- Store the multimeter in a dry, cool place when not in use.
