Instructions for Use

  1. Installation:

    • Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range (18V to 36V).
    • Connect the output terminals to the load, ensuring that the output current does not exceed 25A.
    • Mount the module on a heatsink or a well-ventilated area to maintain operating temperatures within the specified range.
  2. Power-Up:

    • Apply the input voltage gradually to avoid inrush currents.
    • Monitor the output voltage to ensure it stabilizes at 24V.
  3. Operation:

    • Regularly check the temperature of the module to ensure it remains within the operating temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
    • If the module is used in a high-temperature environment, consider additional cooling methods such as forced air or a larger heatsink.
  4. Protection:

    • The module includes Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Temperature Protection (OTP). These features will automatically shut down the module if any of these conditions are detected.
    • After a protection event, the module will reset once the fault condition is removed and power is cycled.
  5. Maintenance:

    • Periodically inspect the connections and terminals for signs of wear or corrosion.
    • Clean the module and heatsink with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
  6. Storage:

    • Store the module in a dry, cool place with temperatures between -40°C and 125°C.
    • Avoid exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or corrosive environments.
  7. Troubleshooting:

    • If the module fails to start or operates abnormally, check the input voltage, connections, and load.
    • Refer to the datasheet for detailed troubleshooting steps and contact the manufacturer for further assistance if needed.
