Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Connect Vcc to +5.0V ± 0.5V.
- Connect Vss to ground.
Address Lines (A0-A17):
- Apply the desired address to the address lines to select the memory location.
Data Lines (DQ0-DQ15):
- Data is read from or written to these lines during read and write operations.
Control Signals:
- Chip Select (CS): Set CS low to enable the device. When high, the device is in standby mode.
- Write Enable (WE): Set WE low to initiate a write operation. When high, the device is in read mode.
- Output Enable (OE): Set OE low to enable data output during a read operation. When high, the outputs are in high-impedance state.
Read Operation:
- Set CS and OE low.
- Apply the desired address to the address lines.
- Data will be available on the data lines after the access time (6 ns).
Write Operation:
- Set CS and WE low.
- Apply the desired address to the address lines.
- Apply the data to be written to the data lines.
- Data will be written to the selected memory location after the access time (6 ns).
Cycle Time:
- Ensure that the minimum cycle time (8 ns) is maintained between consecutive operations.
Temperature Considerations:
- Operate the device within the specified temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) to ensure reliable performance.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the sensitive components.
- Follow proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions when handling and installing the device.
