Instructions for Use:
Supply Voltage Connection:
- Connect the supply voltage (Vcc) between 4V and 30V to pin 3 of the LM35D.
Ground Connection:
- Ensure a solid ground connection to pin 2.
Output Measurement:
- Measure the output voltage at pin 1 relative to ground. The output is calibrated to provide 10mV per degree Celsius.
Temperature Sensing:
- Place the sensor part of the IC in direct contact with or close to the temperature source you wish to measure.
Accuracy Considerations:
- For best accuracy, use the sensor at temperatures around +25°C. Accuracy can vary slightly over the full temperature range.
Noise Reduction:
- If necessary, place a capacitor (e.g., 0.1μF) between the output and ground to reduce noise.
Thermal Lag:
- Be aware that there is a thermal response time of approximately 250ms for step changes in temperature.
Package Handling:
- Handle the device carefully as it is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD).
These guidelines ensure optimal performance of the LM35D temperature sensor in various applications.
