Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin to a 5V supply.
- Connect the GND pin to ground.
Presetting the Counter:
- Set the initial count by applying logic levels to the preset inputs (A, B, C, D).
- The counter will load the preset value on the rising edge of the clock signal when the MR (Master Reset) pin is high.
Clocking the Counter:
- Apply a clock signal to the CP (Clock Pulse) pin.
- The counter will increment on each rising edge of the clock signal.
Resetting the Counter:
- To reset the counter, apply a low signal to the MR (Master Reset) pin.
- The counter will be reset to 0000 (all outputs low).
Reading the Output:
- The current count can be read from the complementary outputs (QA, QB, QC, QD, /QA, /QB, /QC, /QD).
Handling and Storage:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
- Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
