Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the power supply voltage does not exceed the maximum reverse blocking voltage (VBR) of 50V.
  2. Forward Current:

    • The forward current (IF) should be kept within the range of 1.2V to 1.5V at 10mA to avoid damage to the device.
  3. Output Current:

    • The output current (IC) should not exceed 15mA to prevent overheating and potential failure.
  4. Collector-Emitter Saturation Voltage:

    • When operating with a collector-emitter saturation voltage (VCE(sat)) of 0.7V, ensure the input current (IF) is set to 5mA to maintain optimal performance.
  5. Input Current for Turn-On:

    • For reliable turn-on, the input current (IF(on)) should be between 1.0mA and 1.5mA.
  6. Timing Parameters:

    • The turn-on time (tr) and turn-off time (tf) are both typically around 0.5μs but can extend up to 2.0μs under standard conditions (IF = 10mA, RL = 1kΩ to VCC = 5V).
  7. Temperature Considerations:

    • Store the device in an environment where the temperature ranges from -40°C to 110°C.
    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C to ensure reliable performance.
  8. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the sensitive components.
    • Ensure all connections are secure and free from corrosion or oxidation to maintain proper functionality.
  9. Mounting:

    • Mount the device on a suitable PCB with appropriate heat dissipation measures if high current or continuous operation is expected.
