Instructions for HLMP-2755

  1. Forward Voltage (VF):

    • Ensure that the forward voltage applied to the LED does not exceed 2.6V at 20mA to avoid damage.
  2. Reverse Voltage (VR):

    • The maximum reverse voltage should not exceed 5V to prevent breakdown.
  3. Continuous Forward Current (IF):

    • The continuous forward current should be kept within 20mA for optimal performance, with a maximum of 30mA to avoid overheating.
  4. Peak Forward Current (IFp):

    • For short pulses, the peak forward current can go up to 100mA, but only for durations of 10μs or less.
  5. Luminous Intensity (Iv):

    • The luminous intensity ranges from 400 to 1000 mcd at 20mA. Ensure the current is set correctly to achieve the desired brightness.
  6. Viewing Angle (θ1/2):

    • The viewing angle is approximately 20°. This means the LED will have the highest intensity within this angle.
  7. Operating Temperature (TA):

    • The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. Ensure the ambient temperature stays within these limits to maintain performance.
  8. Storage Temperature (TS):

    • Store the LED in an environment where the temperature ranges from -40°C to 100°C to prevent damage.

Additional Notes:

  • Always use appropriate current-limiting resistors to ensure the LED operates within its specified parameters.
  • Avoid exposing the LED to excessive humidity and mechanical stress.
  • For soldering, ensure the temperature does not exceed 260°C for more than 10 seconds.
