Instructions for AP8048B

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (2.7V to 5.5V) to the Vin pin.
    • Ensure a bypass capacitor (typically 1μF ceramic) is placed close to the Vin pin for stability.
  2. Output Configuration:

    • The output voltage is fixed and does not require external resistors for setting the voltage.
    • Place an output capacitor (at least 1μF) at the Vout pin to ensure stable operation.
  3. Enable/Shutdown:

    • Apply a logic high (above 1.2V) to enable the regulator.
    • Pull the EN pin low (below 0.4V) to put the regulator into shutdown mode, reducing power consumption.

    • Monitor the operating temperature to avoid exceeding the maximum specified limit of 85°C.
