Instructions for Using PQ30RV31

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the input voltage to the VIN pin.
    • Connect the negative terminal of the input voltage to the GND pin.
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the VOUT pin to the load or circuit requiring the regulated 3.3V supply.
    • Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum output current of 300mA.
  3. Ground Connection:

    • Ensure a solid connection between the GND pin and the ground of the system to maintain stability and performance.
  4. Capacitors:

    • Place a 1渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VIN and GND pins to filter input noise.
    • Place a 1渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT and GND pins to stabilize the output.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation, especially when operating near the maximum output current. The device has a typical thermal resistance of 120掳C/W.
    • Use a heatsink if necessary, especially in high ambient temperatures or high power applications.
  6. Operating Temperature:

    • The device is designed to operate within the temperature range of -40掳C to 85掳C. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits to avoid damage or reduced performance.
  7. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry environment with temperatures ranging from -65掳C to 150掳C to prevent damage.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the internal components.
    • Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and installation.
