Instructions for Using the AD8803

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a supply voltage between 2.7V and 5.5V.
    • Ensure the ground (GND) pin is connected to the system ground.
  2. Input Signal:

    • Apply the input signal to the IN+ and IN- pins. The input voltage should be within the range of 0V to VCC - 1.5V.
    • Use a differential input configuration for optimal performance.
  3. Output Signal:

    • The output signal will be available on the OUT pin. The output voltage range is from 0V to VCC - 1.5V.
    • Ensure the load impedance is appropriate for the desired output level.
  4. Power-Down Mode:

    • To enter power-down mode, set the PD pin to a high logic level (VCC).
    • In power-down mode, the quiescent current drops to approximately 0.1 渭A.
  5. Gain Setting:

    • The AD8803 has a fixed gain of 100 V/V. No external components are required to set the gain.
  6. Temperature Range:

    • The device is specified to operate over the temperature range of -40掳C to +85掳C.
  7. Layout Considerations:

    • Place decoupling capacitors close to the VCC and GND pins to minimize noise and improve stability.
    • Use a ground plane to reduce parasitic inductance and capacitance.
  8. Handling Precautions:

    • The AD8803 is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Handle the device with ESD precautions.
    • Avoid exposing the device to excessive heat or mechanical stress during soldering and assembly.
