Instructions for Use:

  1. Mounting:

    • Ensure the PCB has the correct footprint for the 8-Pin SOIC package.
    • Place the module on the PCB and solder the pins securely.
  2. Power Input:

    • Connect the input voltage (4.5V to 16V) to the VIN pin.
    • Ensure the input power supply is stable and within the specified range.
  3. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of your circuit.
  4. Output Connection:

    • Connect the VOUT pin to the load or the circuit requiring 3.3V.
    • Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum output current of 2A.
  5. Heat Dissipation:

    • For high current applications, consider adding a heatsink or thermal pad under the module to improve heat dissipation.
  6. Capacitors:

    • It is recommended to place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VIN and GND pins for better stability.
    • Place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT and GND pins to filter out any ripple.
  7. Protection:

    • The module includes overcurrent and overtemperature protection. However, avoid prolonged operation under fault conditions to prevent damage.
  8. Testing:

    • After assembly, test the output voltage with no load to ensure it is stable at 3.3V.
    • Gradually increase the load to the maximum current and monitor the output voltage and temperature.
  9. Storage:

    • Store the module in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  10. Handling:

    • Handle the module with care to avoid damaging the pins or the internal components.
    • Use proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
