Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure the PCB has the correct footprint for the 8-Pin SOIC package.
- Place the module on the PCB and solder the pins securely.
Power Input:
- Connect the input voltage (4.5V to 16V) to the VIN pin.
- Ensure the input power supply is stable and within the specified range.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the GND pin to the ground of your circuit.
Output Connection:
- Connect the VOUT pin to the load or the circuit requiring 3.3V.
- Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum output current of 2A.
Heat Dissipation:
- For high current applications, consider adding a heatsink or thermal pad under the module to improve heat dissipation.
Capacitors:
- It is recommended to place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VIN and GND pins for better stability.
- Place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT and GND pins to filter out any ripple.
Protection:
- The module includes overcurrent and overtemperature protection. However, avoid prolonged operation under fault conditions to prevent damage.
Testing:
- After assembly, test the output voltage with no load to ensure it is stable at 3.3V.
- Gradually increase the load to the maximum current and monitor the output voltage and temperature.
Storage:
- Store the module in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Handling:
- Handle the module with care to avoid damaging the pins or the internal components.
- Use proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
