Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage is 5V DC.
    • Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the coil pin marked with a "+" and the negative terminal to the pin marked with a "-".
  2. Relay Operation:

    • When the relay is energized (5V DC applied to the coil), the normally open (NO) contact will close, and the normally closed (NC) contact will open.
    • When the relay is de-energized (no voltage applied to the coil), the NO contact will open, and the NC contact will close.
  3. Wiring:

    • Common (COM): Connect the common terminal to the circuit that needs to be controlled.
    • Normally Open (NO): Connect this terminal to the load when you want the circuit to be completed when the relay is energized.
    • Normally Closed (NC): Connect this terminal to the load when you want the circuit to be completed when the relay is de-energized.
  4. Mounting:

    • Mount the relay in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation.
    • Use appropriate mounting hardware to secure the relay in place.
  5. Handling:

    • Handle the relay with care to avoid damage to the pins or internal components.
    • Do not expose the relay to excessive shock or vibration.
  6. Testing:

    • Use a multimeter to verify the continuity of the contacts before and after energizing the relay.
    • Ensure that the relay operates within the specified temperature range to avoid performance issues.
  7. Safety:

    • Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.
    • Follow all relevant safety guidelines and regulations when installing and operating the relay.
