Instructions for Use
Powering the Device:
- Connect Vcc (pin 20) to a supply voltage between 4.5V and 5.5V.
- Connect Vss (pin 10) to ground.
Addressing:
- Apply the desired address to the address lines (A0-A12).
Data Output:
- Data can be read from the data output pins (D0-D7) after applying the correct address and enabling the chip select (/CE) and output enable (/OE) pins.
Programming:
- To program the EPROM, use a suitable programmer that applies the necessary high voltage (Vpp) to the appropriate pin while setting the address and data lines.
- Programming voltage (Vpp) should be between 12.5V and 13.5V.
Erase Cycle:
- Erase the EPROM by exposing it to ultraviolet light for approximately 20 minutes through the window on the top of the package.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle with care to avoid damage to the UV window or pins.
- Use proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions when handling the device.
Storage:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight if not in use.
