Instructions for Use

  1. Powering the Device:

    • Connect Vcc (pin 20) to a supply voltage between 4.5V and 5.5V.
    • Connect Vss (pin 10) to ground.
  2. Addressing:

    • Apply the desired address to the address lines (A0-A12).
  3. Data Output:

    • Data can be read from the data output pins (D0-D7) after applying the correct address and enabling the chip select (/CE) and output enable (/OE) pins.
  4. Programming:

    • To program the EPROM, use a suitable programmer that applies the necessary high voltage (Vpp) to the appropriate pin while setting the address and data lines.
    • Programming voltage (Vpp) should be between 12.5V and 13.5V.
  5. Erase Cycle:

    • Erase the EPROM by exposing it to ultraviolet light for approximately 20 minutes through the window on the top of the package.
