Instructions for Use:

  1. Handling and Storage:

    • Store in a dry, cool place.
    • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads and body.
  2. Soldering:

    • Preheat the PCB to 100掳C to 150掳C before soldering.
    • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260掳C.
    • Soldering time should be limited to 10 seconds.
  3. Mounting:

    • Ensure proper orientation of the diode during mounting.
    • Use a flat surface for mounting to ensure good thermal contact.
  4. Electrical Connections:

    • Connect the cathode (K) to the positive side of the circuit.
    • Connect the anode (A) to the negative side of the circuit.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat sinking if operating near maximum power dissipation.
    • Avoid exceeding the maximum junction temperature.
  6. Testing:

    • Test the diode using a multimeter or diode tester to ensure it is functioning correctly.
    • Check for continuity between the anode and cathode.
  7. Environmental Considerations:

    • The device is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
    • Follow local regulations for disposal and recycling.
  8. Safety:

    • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table.
    • Use appropriate safety equipment when handling and testing the diode.
