Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply Connection

    • Connect the power supply to the sensor according to the wiring diagram provided. Ensure the voltage is within the operating range (10 - 30 VDC).
  2. Output Configuration

    • Configure the output type (NPN or PNP) as required. This can typically be done using a DIP switch or via a programming interface, depending on the model.
  3. Mounting

    • Mount the sensor using the M12 x 1 thread. Ensure it is securely fastened to avoid movement during operation.
  4. Adjusting Detection Range

    • Adjust the detection range using the potentiometer on the sensor. Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the range and counterclockwise to decrease it.
  5. Testing

    • Test the sensor by bringing a target object within the detection range. The output should change state when the target is detected.
  6. Environmental Considerations

    • Ensure the sensor is used within the specified operating temperature range (-25掳C to +70掳C). Avoid exposure to environments that exceed the storage temperature range (-40掳C to +85掳C).
  7. Maintenance

    • Regularly inspect the sensor for any physical damage or wear. Clean the sensing face with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
  8. Troubleshooting

    • If the sensor does not respond as expected, check the power supply, wiring connections, and output configuration. Refer to the user manual for detailed troubleshooting steps.
