Instructions for Use:
Input Connection:
- Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the positive terminal and the ground (GND) to the negative terminal.
- Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 42V).
Output Configuration:
- The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted by connecting a resistor network between the ADJ pin and GND.
- Use the formula: ( V_ = 1.25 left(1 + fracright) ) where ( R_1 ) is the resistor connected from ADJ to GND and ( R_2 ) is the resistor connected from VOUT to ADJ.
Output Connection:
- Connect the load to the VOUT and GND terminals.
- Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (1.5A).
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation, especially under high load conditions.
- Mount the module on a heatsink if necessary to maintain operating temperatures within the specified range.
Protection Features:
- The module includes overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protections.
- In case of a fault, the module will automatically shut down to prevent damage.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the module in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-40°C to 125°C).
- Handle with care to avoid physical damage or static discharge.
Testing:
- Before final installation, test the module under typical operating conditions to ensure proper functionality.
- Verify the output voltage and current using a multimeter and load tester.
