Instructions for Use:

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input voltage (VIN) to the positive terminal and the ground (GND) to the negative terminal.
    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 42V).
  2. Output Configuration:

    • The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted by connecting a resistor network between the ADJ pin and GND.
    • Use the formula: ( V_ = 1.25 left(1 + fracright) ) where ( R_1 ) is the resistor connected from ADJ to GND and ( R_2 ) is the resistor connected from VOUT to ADJ.
  3. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load to the VOUT and GND terminals.
    • Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum output current (1.5A).
  4. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation, especially under high load conditions.
    • Mount the module on a heatsink if necessary to maintain operating temperatures within the specified range.
  5. Protection Features:

    • The module includes overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protections.
    • In case of a fault, the module will automatically shut down to prevent damage.
  6. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the module in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-40°C to 125°C).
    • Handle with care to avoid physical damage or static discharge.
  7. Testing:

    • Before final installation, test the module under typical operating conditions to ensure proper functionality.
    • Verify the output voltage and current using a multimeter and load tester.
