Instructions for Use

  1. Input Connection:

    • Connect the positive terminal of the input power supply to the VIN pin.
    • Connect the negative terminal of the input power supply to the GND pin.
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the load or device to be powered between the VOUT and GND pins.
  3. Enable Pin (EN):

    • The EN pin can be used to enable or disable the converter. Connect it to GND to disable, or leave it floating or connect to VIN to enable.
  4. Feedback Pin (FB):

    • The FB pin is used for output voltage regulation. It should be connected to a voltage divider network if a different output voltage is required.
  5. Compensation Pin (COMP):

    • The COMP pin is used for loop compensation. It should be connected to a compensation network as specified in the datasheet for optimal performance.
  6. Capacitors:

    • Input Capacitor: Place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VIN and GND pins to filter input noise.
    • Output Capacitor: Place a 10渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT and GND pins to stabilize the output voltage.
  7. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation by providing a good thermal path to the PCB or using a heatsink if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
  8. Protection:

    • The HT6116-70 includes built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protections. However, ensure that the input voltage and load do not exceed the specified limits to avoid damage.
  9. Storage and Handling:
