Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure that the supply voltage (VDD) is within the specified range (4.75V to 5.25V).
    • Connect the power supply to the VDD pin and ground to the GND pin.
  2. Input Connection:

    • Connect the input signal to the ANODE and CATHODE pins.
    • The forward current (IF) should be within the range of 5mA to 40mA for reliable operation.
  3. Output Connection:

    • Connect the output load between the OUT and GND pins.
    • The output can sink up to 24mA and source up to 8mA.
  4. Signal Timing:

    • Ensure that the propagation delay time (tPD), rise time (tr), and fall time (tf) meet the application requirements.
  5. Isolation:

    • The device provides high isolation voltage (VIORM) of up to 5000Vrms for 1 minute at 50/60Hz.
  6. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40掳C to 105掳C.
    • Store the device within the temperature range of -55掳C to 125掳C.
  7. Handling Precautions:
