Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the VCC pin.
- Connect the negative terminal of the power supply to the GND pin.
Output Configuration:
- Connect the load to the VOUT pin.
- Ensure the load current does not exceed the maximum continuous output current (100 mA).
Shutdown Mode:
- To enter shutdown mode, apply a low signal (0 V) to the SHDN pin.
- The device will consume minimal current (0.1 渭A) in this mode.
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation to keep the device within the operating temperature range (-40掳C to 85掳C).
- Avoid exceeding the thermal shutdown temperature (160掳C) to prevent damage.
Capacitor Requirements:
- Place a 1 渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VCC and GND pins for stability.
- Optionally, place a 10 渭F electrolytic capacitor between VOUT and GND for better transient response.
PCB Layout:
- Use short traces and wide paths for power and ground connections to minimize inductance and resistance.
- Keep the layout compact to reduce noise and improve performance.
Storage:
- Store the device in a dry environment within the storage temperature range (-65掳C to 150掳C).
