Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range of 4.5 V to 24 V.
    • Connect the VCC pin to the positive power supply and the GND pin to the ground.
  2. Output Configuration:

    • The output voltage (VOUT) is linearly proportional to the magnetic flux density (B).
    • At zero magnetic flux density, the output voltage is approximately half of the supply voltage (1/2 VCC).
  3. Magnetic Field Sensing:

    • Place the sensor in the desired magnetic field.
    • The sensitivity of the sensor is 1.3 mV/G, meaning the output voltage will change by 1.3 mV for every 1 Gauss change in magnetic flux density.
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • The device is designed to operate over a wide temperature range (-40掳C to 150掳C). Ensure the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits during operation.
  5. Handling and Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry environment within the temperature range of -65掳C to 175掳C.
    • Handle with care to avoid damage to the leads and package.
  6. Mounting:

    • Solder the device according to the recommended soldering profile for the specific package type (SOIC-8 or TO-92).
    • Ensure proper thermal management if operating at high temperatures or in high-power applications.
  7. Testing:

    • Before final integration, test the device to ensure it meets the required specifications.
    • Use a known magnetic field source to verify the output voltage and sensitivity.
  8. Safety:

    • Follow all relevant safety guidelines when handling and using the device.
    • Ensure that the device is not exposed to excessive mechanical stress or electrical overloads.
