Instructions

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to the power supply within the operating voltage range (4.5V to 24V DC).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector, so connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin (OUT) and VCC.
    • The typical value for the pull-up resistor is 1k惟 to 10k惟, depending on the application.
  3. Sensitivity Adjustment:

    • The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted using the potentiometer provided on the sensor module.
    • Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase sensitivity and counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity.
  4. Installation:

    • Mount the sensor in a location where it will not be exposed to temperatures outside the operating range.
    • Ensure that the sensor is aligned with the magnetic field source for optimal performance.
  5. Testing:

    • Apply a magnetic field near the sensor to test its operation.
    • The output pin (OUT) will go low when the magnetic field strength exceeds the set sensitivity threshold.
  6. Handling:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage from static electricity or physical stress.
    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place when not in use.
  7. Troubleshooting:

    • If the sensor does not respond to a magnetic field, check the power supply connections and the pull-up resistor.
    • Ensure that the magnetic field strength is within the detectable range of the sensor.
    • Adjust the sensitivity if necessary.
