Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the supply voltage (Vcc) to pin 14 and ground (GND) to pin 7.
    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range (2.0 V to 36 V).
  2. Input Connections:

    • Connect the non-inverting inputs (IN+) to pins 2, 6, 9, and 12.
    • Connect the inverting inputs (IN-) to pins 3, 5, 8, and 11.
    • The input voltages should be within the range of 0 V to Vcc - 1.5 V.
  3. Output Connections:

    • The outputs (OUT) are open-collector and can be connected to pins 1, 4, 7, and 10.
    • Use a pull-up resistor (typically 1 k惟 to 10 k惟) between the output and Vcc to ensure proper logic levels.
  4. Comparator Operation:

    • When the non-inverting input (IN+) is higher than the inverting input (IN-), the output will be low (ground).
    • When the non-inverting input (IN+) is lower than the inverting input (IN-), the output will be high (pulled up by the external resistor).
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure the device operates within the temperature range of -40掳C to 85掳C to avoid damage or malfunction.
  6. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the L339 with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the device.
    • Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions when handling the component.
