Instructions

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the sensor to a 12 VDC power supply.
    • Ensure the power supply is stable and within the specified range.
  2. Wiring:

    • Connect the brown wire to the positive terminal of the power supply.
    • Connect the blue wire to the negative terminal of the power supply.
    • Connect the black wire to the input of the control device (load).
  3. Installation:

    • Mount the sensor using the M5 threaded stud.
    • Ensure the sensor is securely fastened and aligned with the target object.
  4. Adjustment:

    • Use the sensitivity adjustment potentiometer to set the detection distance.
    • Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase sensitivity and counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity.
  5. Operation:

    • When an object enters the detection range, the sensor will activate the output.
    • The output will switch to ground (NPN open collector), allowing current to flow through the load.
  6. Maintenance:

    • Regularly inspect the sensor for any physical damage or dirt on the lens.
    • Clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
  7. Precautions:

    • Do not exceed the maximum operating voltage or current ratings.
    • Avoid exposing the sensor to environments outside the specified temperature and humidity ranges.
    • Ensure proper grounding to prevent electrical interference.
