Instructions

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the DC 5V power supply to the VCC and GND terminals on the module.
  2. Control Signals:

    • Connect the control signals from your microcontroller or logic circuit to the IN1, IN2, IN3, and IN4 terminals.
    • Apply a high signal (TTL level, typically 5V) to the input terminal to activate the corresponding relay channel.
  3. Load Connection:

    • Connect the load to the common (COM), normally open (NO), and normally closed (NC) terminals of each relay channel.
    • For normally open operation, connect the load between COM and NO.
    • For normally closed operation, connect the load between COM and NC.
  4. Grounding:

    • Ensure that the ground of the control circuit and the power supply are connected to the same ground to avoid potential issues.
  5. Mounting:

    • Mount the module securely in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation.
    • Avoid placing the module near sources of high temperature or humidity.
  6. Testing:

    • Before connecting the load, test the relays with a simple LED or buzzer to ensure they are functioning correctly.
    • Use a multimeter to verify the continuity of the relay contacts when activated and deactivated.
  7. Safety:

    • Do not exceed the maximum contact rating of the relays.
    • Ensure that the load is disconnected before applying power to the module.
    • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations for handling electrical components.
  8. Troubleshooting:

    • If a relay does not activate, check the control signal and power supply connections.
    • If the relay activates but the load does not operate, check the load connections and the load itself.
    • If the module overheats, ensure proper ventilation and reduce the load current if necessary.
