Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin to the positive terminal of your power supply.
- Connect the GND pin to the ground of your power supply.
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the operating range of 4.5V to 24V.
Output Connection:
- Connect the output pin (OUT) to the input of your control circuit.
- The output is an open collector NPN transistor, so you need to connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin and Vcc.
Magnetic Field Sensing:
- Position the sensor such that the magnetic field from the target (e.g., a magnet) is perpendicular to the sensitive face of the sensor.
- The sensor will switch on when the magnetic field strength exceeds the Bop threshold and switch off when it falls below the Brp threshold.
Mounting:
- Mount the sensor in a location where it will not be exposed to temperatures outside the operating range (-40掳C to 85掳C).
- Ensure the leads are securely soldered and protected from mechanical stress.
Testing:
- Test the sensor by applying a known magnetic field and verifying the output state with a multimeter or logic analyzer.
- Check the quiescent current and response time to ensure they meet the specified values.
Storage:
- Store the sensor in a dry, cool place within the storage temperature range (-40掳C to 125掳C).
Handling:
- Handle the sensor with care to avoid damaging the leads or the sensitive components inside.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage to the sensor.
