Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to the positive terminal of your power supply.
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of your power supply.
    • Ensure the supply voltage is within the operating range of 4.5V to 24V.
  2. Output Connection:

    • Connect the output pin (OUT) to the input of your control circuit.
    • The output is an open collector NPN transistor, so you need to connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin and Vcc.
  3. Magnetic Field Sensing:

    • Position the sensor such that the magnetic field from the target (e.g., a magnet) is perpendicular to the sensitive face of the sensor.
    • The sensor will switch on when the magnetic field strength exceeds the Bop threshold and switch off when it falls below the Brp threshold.
  4. Mounting:

    • Mount the sensor in a location where it will not be exposed to temperatures outside the operating range (-40掳C to 85掳C).
    • Ensure the leads are securely soldered and protected from mechanical stress.
  5. Testing:

    • Test the sensor by applying a known magnetic field and verifying the output state with a multimeter or logic analyzer.
    • Check the quiescent current and response time to ensure they meet the specified values.
  6. Storage:

    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place within the storage temperature range (-40掳C to 125掳C).
  7. Handling:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damaging the leads or the sensitive components inside.
    • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage to the sensor.
