Instructions for Use:

  1. Mounting and Handling:

    • Ensure proper heat sinking to manage thermal resistance.
    • Handle with care to avoid damage to the pins and body.
  2. Electrical Connections:

    • Connect the drain (D) to the load or power supply.
    • Connect the source (S) to the common ground.
    • Apply gate voltage (G) relative to the source for switching.
  3. Operating Conditions:

    • Do not exceed the maximum continuous current of 60A.
    • For peak currents up to 120A, ensure pulse width is ≤ 1ms and repetition rate is ≤ 2Hz.
  4. Gate Drive:

    • Apply a gate-source voltage of at least 10V to minimize on-state resistance.
    • Keep gate drive impedance low to reduce switching times.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Monitor junction temperature; keep it below 150°C to prevent overheating.
    • Use adequate cooling solutions like heatsinks or forced air cooling.
  6. Storage and Packaging:

    • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
    • Follow anti-static precautions during handling and storage.
  7. Safety Precautions:

    • Always use appropriate personal protective equipment when handling high-power components.
    • Ensure all connections are secure to prevent electrical hazards.
