Instructions for Use

  1. Input Capacitor (CIN):

    • Place a 1μF ceramic capacitor from VIN to GND close to the device to ensure stability.
  2. Output Capacitor (COUT):

    • A 1μF ceramic capacitor is required from VOUT to GND for stability.
    • For better transient response, a larger capacitance can be used.
  3. Thermal Considerations:

    • Ensure adequate heat sinking or PCB copper area around the device to dissipate heat, especially at higher output currents.
  4. PCB Layout:

    • Keep input and output capacitors as close as possible to the respective pins.
    • Maintain short and wide traces for power paths to minimize inductance and resistance.
  5. Operating Temperature:

    • The operating ambient temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
  6. Storage Temperature:

    • Store the device between -65°C and +150°C.
  7. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle with care to avoid damage to leads and body.
