Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a power supply within the operating voltage range (3.3V to 5.5V DC).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of the power supply.
  2. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector NPN transistor. Connect a pull-up resistor between the output (OUT) and VCC.
    • The typical value for the pull-up resistor is 10k惟, but it can be adjusted based on the load requirements.
  3. Magnetic Field Detection:

    • Place the sensor in the desired location where magnetic field detection is needed.
    • The sensor will switch the output to low (ground) when the magnetic field strength exceeds the Bop threshold (-45 Gauss) and switch back to high (VCC) when the magnetic field strength drops below the Brp threshold (+45 Gauss).
  4. Mounting:

    • Ensure the sensor is mounted in a stable position to avoid mechanical stress.
    • Keep the sensor away from high temperatures and direct exposure to moisture.
  5. Handling:

    • Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage to the leads or the internal components.
    • Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling the sensor.
  6. Testing:

    • To test the sensor, apply a magnetic field near the sensor and observe the output state change.
    • Use a multimeter to verify the output voltage levels (high and low).
  7. Storage:

    • Store the sensor in a dry, cool place within the storage temperature range (-55掳C to 150掳C).
  8. Troubleshooting:

    • If the sensor does not respond as expected, check the power supply connections and ensure the pull-up resistor is correctly installed.
    • Verify that the magnetic field strength is within the detectable range of the sensor.
