Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect Pin 1 (Vcc) to the positive supply voltage (2.7V to 5.5V).
- Connect Pin 2 (GND) to the ground.
Output Connection:
- Connect Pin 3 (Output) to the input of your microcontroller or logic circuit.
- Ensure a pull-up resistor is connected between the output pin and the supply voltage to ensure a high state when no magnetic field is detected.
Magnetic Field Detection:
- Place the sensor in the vicinity of a magnetic field.
- The output will switch to a low state (ground) when the magnetic field strength exceeds the operate point (Bop).
- The output will return to a high state (pull-up voltage) when the magnetic field strength drops below the release point (Brp).
Temperature Considerations:
- Ensure the operating temperature range (-40掳C to 85掳C) is not exceeded to avoid damage or inaccurate readings.
Mounting:
- Mount the sensor in a location where it is not exposed to excessive mechanical stress or vibration.
- Orient the sensor so that the sensitive axis is aligned with the expected direction of the magnetic field.
Handling:
- Handle the sensor with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage the internal components.
- Use appropriate ESD protection measures during handling and installation.
Testing:
- Test the sensor in a controlled environment to ensure it meets the required specifications.
- Verify the output behavior using a known magnetic source to confirm proper operation.
