Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the operating voltage (Vcc) is within the range of 3.0V to 5.5V.
    • The typical operating current is 20渭A.
  2. Installation:

    • Mount the sensor in a position where the target object will be within the sensing distance (0.8mm to 1.2mm).
    • Avoid placing the sensor in environments with high electromagnetic interference.
  3. Wiring:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to the positive supply voltage.
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground.
    • Connect the output pin to the input of your control circuit. The output is an NPN open collector type, which can sink up to 50mA.
  4. Operation:

    • When the target is within the sensing distance, the output transistor turns on, pulling the output low.
    • The response time is typically 1ms, and the release time is also 1ms.
    • Ensure the ambient temperature is between -40掳C and 85掳C for optimal performance.
  5. Environmental Considerations:

    • Store the sensor in temperatures ranging from -40掳C to 125掳C.
    • Avoid exposing the sensor to excessive humidity or corrosive gases.
  6. Troubleshooting:

    • If the sensor does not respond, check the power supply and connections.
    • Ensure the target is within the specified sensing distance.
    • Verify that the load connected to the output is within the maximum load current and voltage ratings.
