Instructions for Use:
Input Connection:
- Connect the input voltage (V_IN) to the VIN pin.
- Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (2.5V to 5.5V).
Output Connection:
- Connect the output load to the VOUT pin.
- The output voltage is fixed at 1.8V.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the ground (GND) pin to the common ground of the system.
Capacitors:
- Place a 1渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VIN and GND pins to stabilize the input voltage.
- Place a 1渭F ceramic capacitor close to the VOUT and GND pins to stabilize the output voltage.
Thermal Considerations:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high output currents or in high ambient temperatures.
- The device is designed to operate up to 85掳C, but performance may degrade at higher temperatures.
Power-On Sequence:
- Apply the input voltage gradually to avoid inrush current.
- Allow the device to stabilize before connecting the load.
Storage and Handling:
- Store the device in a dry, cool place.
- Handle with care to avoid static damage; use ESD protection when handling.
Testing:
- Before final assembly, test the device under typical operating conditions to ensure it meets the required specifications.
Pin Configuration:
| Pin | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | VIN | Input Voltage |
| 2 | GND | Ground |
| 3 | VOUT | Output Voltage |
Notes:
- Always refer to the datasheet for the most accurate and detailed information.
- Ensure all connections are secure and free from shorts or open circuits.
