Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure that the PCB layout is designed to accommodate the 0805 package.
- Place the LED on the PCB with the correct polarity (anode and cathode).
Soldering:
- Preheat the PCB to a temperature of around 120掳C to 150掳C.
- Apply solder paste or flux to the pads.
- Solder the LED using a soldering iron or reflow oven at a maximum temperature of 260掳C for no more than 10 seconds.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the anode (longer lead or marked side) to the positive terminal of the power supply.
- Connect the cathode (shorter lead or unmarked side) to the negative terminal of the power supply or ground.
- Use a current-limiting resistor to ensure the forward current does not exceed 20 mA.
Handling:
- Handle the LED with care to avoid physical damage.
- Avoid exposing the LED to excessive moisture or static electricity.
Storage:
- Store the LEDs in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the LEDs in their original packaging until ready for use to protect them from environmental factors.
Testing:
- Test the LED by applying the recommended forward voltage and current.
- Verify the correct operation by observing the light output and ensuring it matches the specified luminous intensity.
